Aurora Network

What is Aurora in crypto?

Aurora in crypto refers to an Ethereum-compatible network chain that has been active in the crypto scene for a while. It is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), delivering a turn-key solution for developers to operate their apps on an Ethereum-compatible, high-throughput, scalable and future-safe platform, with low transaction costs for users.

Aurora removes a steep financial barrier to entry for users and developers, especially newcomers to the ecosystem as the transaction cost is several orders of magnitude cheaper than that of Ethereum.

Is Aurora a good chain?

Aurora has made its name through its NEAR protocol, maintaining an average block-time of approximately one second which is comparably faster than 13 seconds block-time of the Ethereum network.

Another strength worth mentioning is its transaction fee. The average transaction fee in the Aurora network is as little as 0.02$ per transaction. This is the main competitive advantage of the chain which is comfortable for newcomers and veterans alike.

There are also around 160 crypto projects available on the Aurora network and more are coming soon.
